In a rush to get carpets cleaned before moving into a new home 3 hours away, I was sure that it would never happen. But, 2 minutes after I left Brian a message, he returned my call... after business hours! He had me at the great customer service, but on top of that, he did an amazing job of getting stains out of the carpet that I was convinced would never come out. I would highly recommend Brian!

Common questions and tips from our work with Paulding customers.
- How often should carpet be professionally cleaned?
- It depends on how hard the carpet works. A quiet home with no pets can go longer between cleanings than a house with kids, dogs and muddy boots coming in from the yard. Entryways and traffic lanes show wear first. When those areas look gray or matted even after a good vacuuming, the soil has worked down near the backing and it is time for a deep extraction cleaning.
- How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
- Drying time depends on the carpet's thickness, how soiled it was, the humidity in the house and how much air is moving. You can speed it up by running ceiling fans, turning on the air conditioning or a dehumidifier, and opening windows when the weather is dry. Stay off the damp areas in shoes, and walk on them in clean socks if you have to cross.
Tip
Vacuum slowly before and between cleanings
Most of the dirt in carpet is dry grit, and a quick pass only picks up what sits on top. Vacuum slowly, in overlapping rows, and go over entryways and hallways in two directions. Doing this before a cleaning lets the extraction focus on the soil and residue deeper in the pile, and doing it between cleanings keeps sand from grinding down the fibers in your traffic lanes.
Tip
Protect damp carpet from furniture legs
Wood stain and metal glides can transfer onto damp carpet and leave rust or brown marks that are hard to remove. Until the carpet is fully dry, set furniture back on small squares of foil, plastic tabs or wax paper under each leg. Once the carpet feels dry to the touch all the way down, you can pull them out and put everything back as normal.
